The StitchLuxe Vision
In 2024, our founders spent weeks inside bustling tailoring workshops in Mumbai’s Marine Lines, Chennai’s T. Nagar, and Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills. What we witnessed was astounding: brilliant master cutters and couture designers creating world-class lehengas, sherwanis, and gowns — while simultaneously fighting with paper notebooks, lost measurement slips, and chaotic tailor wage calculations.
Generic point-of-sale software treated bespoke tailoring like selling a bar of soap. It couldn't grasp that a blouse needs 14 precision measurements, that an embroidered lehenga takes a 6-stage production route, or that a customer pays in installments across weeks.
